The questions you should be asking

Eighteen questions, answered in full. Where the answer works against us, it is written down all the same. The search below runs in your browser, over the text already on this page.

Risk and Meta's rules

Can my number be banned?

If you use a tool that connects by reading a QR code, that fear is justified. It works outside WhatsApp's rules, and one day Meta takes it down. When it does, it takes with it the number your company has been advertising for years, with every conversation inside it. It is the biggest cause of banned numbers in this market.

ZeraSync uses Meta's official API. That is the approved path, and this specific risk goes away.

What still holds, here and on every official platform in the world, is the number's reputation: if you message people who never asked for it and they block or report you, Meta lowers your number's rating and caps how much you can send. That is a Meta rule and nobody gets around it. What we do is warn you when the rating drops and tell you what to change, instead of telling you to go read the Terms of Use.

Are you a BSP or an official Meta partner?

Zera is a Meta-approved Tech Provider. In practice, that is what lets us register and run your company's number on the official API.

We are not a BSP and not a Solution Partner, and we do not sell messages: what Meta charges per conversation you pay straight to Meta. We would rather explain that than use a badge we do not hold.

Pricing and billing

How much does a message cost? Do you charge per conversation?

We charge nothing per message. You attach your card to your own Meta account and pay Meta for what you use, at Meta's public rates. We do not sit in the middle of that billing and we put no toll on top of it.

For conversations the customer starts, and for those that come from an ad with a free entry point, the cost is usually zero. Anyone charging per message with a margin baked in makes money on your volume, and that is how a surprise invoice of thousands of reais (BRL) shows up.

Do you charge per agent?

No. And this is the bill that hurts most in this market: you hire one more person to answer customers and the monthly software fee goes up with them. It grows when the company grows, which is the worst possible time for it to grow.

In ZeraSync the price is per connected WhatsApp number, not per person. It is BRL 197 per month with unlimited agents. Three, ten or forty people on the same screen, the invoice is the same.

For comparison: the public plans of the well-known platforms in this market run around BRL 299 per month for up to 3 agents and BRL 589 per month for up to 5.

How many agents can I add?

As many as you want. There is no user limit and no cost per user. If your team grows from three people to ten, your invoice does not change.

When does billing start? What if I back out before connecting?

Any amount that may show up on your statement on sign-up day is the card check run by your bank, not a charge, and it drops off on its own within 48 hours.

Will you charge me for something I did not sign up for?

No. The only amounts that exist are the ones on the public price list, per connected number: BRL 147 for the WhatsApp API, BRL 197 for ZeraSync, BRL 297 for both together, plus BRL 149 if you turn on BotSync.

There is no setup fee, no per-agent fee, no minimum volume and no overage charge. If we ever change prices, you get an email at least 30 days in advance and you can cancel before the new price takes effect.

Timeline and activation

How long until I am actually live?

Meta reviews the name that will appear on your business profile, which takes 24 to 48 hours, and it also reviews your first message template, if you need one. Neither review stops you from answering customers: what they unlock is scale, because a new number reaches up to 250 different people per day and that ceiling rises later.

That timeline is Meta's, not ours, and we have no way to speed it up. Anyone promising official WhatsApp live on the spot is hiding this step from you.

Can I use the number I already use on WhatsApp Business today?

In most cases, yes. The number starts running on the official API and stays yours.

A few details change the picture: whether it is a landline, whether it sits with another vendor, whether it has already been used on another business account. That check is the first step of signing up. If your case is not possible, you find out before any charge.

What if Meta does not approve my number?

In the first 7 days after sign-up you can change your mind and get everything back, for any reason, and a rejection by Meta is one of them. After that window, cancelling applies to the next cycle and there is no penalty.

Most rejections can be fixed, and we tell you exactly what to change: the name showing on the profile breaks the rules, the company has not been verified by Meta yet, or the website does not follow WhatsApp's commerce rules. If it cannot be fixed, we cancel and give you your time back instead of pushing one more attempt.

I already use another platform. Can I migrate without losing WhatsApp?

You can, and the rule is simple: you do not cancel your current vendor before your number is working here.

The worst story in this market is the customer who cancelled the old platform thinking activation would take a week and left the whole team idle, with no platform at all. Here your account is built in parallel, and switching off the old one is the last step, never the first.

Product

What is the difference between the WhatsApp API and ZeraSync?

WhatsApp API is your number on Meta's official API: connected, working and without the paperwork. It does not come with a service screen, because the conversation happens inside the system you already use. It is the plan for a company that already has a system where it answers customers, its own software or a CRM, and only needs the official channel wired into it. BRL 147 per month.

ZeraSync is the screen. Every conversation in the company in one place, with unlimited agents, queue by waiting time, labels, filters and the history kept at the company, not on the phone of an employee who will leave one day. BRL 197 per month.

Both together cost BRL 297, and that is what most customers buy. The next question explains why.

I already have Meta's official API. What is a service screen for?

Because Meta hands you no screen at all. The official API is a pipe: it carries messages back and forth between WhatsApp and a system. If there is no system on the other end, there is nowhere to read, to reply, to hand the conversation to the right person or to look up what was agreed with the customer last week.

And Meta will not let your number stay in line with its rules unless there is a service screen connected to it. A pipe with no tap is no use to anyone.

That is why the Combo is not “the two at a discount”. It is the only setup that works day to day for a company without its own software: the WhatsApp API takes your number out of risk, and ZeraSync is where your team works.

Is BotSync artificial intelligence?

No, and that is exactly where the advantage is. BotSync is menus and rules. It answers in the first second, always with the same thing, and sends the conversation to the right queue based on the option the person picked. A customer who writes at 10pm stops waiting until the next day for a reply.

When the case requires artificial intelligence running the business process, wired into your systems, that is a project and it is not sold in this table. It is called Neural Core, it comes from the same house, and it has its own site: neuralcore.zeracompany.com.

What about support? Do you disappear after the sale?

Support is in Portuguese, over WhatsApp and email, during business hours, Monday to Friday, handled by the people who built the platform. It is not an outsourced call center and it is not a bot.

Being honest about our size: we do not sell 24-hour coverage, a contractual response time or a dedicated account manager, because Zera is a small team and promising that would be a lie. Support that is promised and not delivered is the most common complaint against the big platforms in this market, and we are not joining that line.

Do you handle my paid traffic as well?

Yes, and it is where we came from. But it is not part of the subscription, because it is not software, it is operational work: someone has to design the campaign, write the ads, watch the results and fix them. It is a separate service, with the scope and the price agreed in a conversation.

The advantage of having both under one roof is that the ad, the conversation and the sale start being measured as one thing, and Meta learns from the people who bought, not from the people who only clicked.

Contract and data

How do I cancel?

No retention call and no penalty. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the cycle you have already paid for, and there is no lock-in and no minimum term.

The number is yours, not ours. Your company's WhatsApp account has been in your name since day one. If you want to take it to another vendor, you take it, and we hold nothing back to make leaving harder.

Where is my data kept?

Your company's WhatsApp account stays in your name, at Meta. The conversations sit in your own area of the platform, separate from every other customer's. You can export them and you can ask for them to be deleted.

We do not sell, do not share and do not use your conversations to train any artificial intelligence.

Can my type of business use official WhatsApp?

Almost all can. Meta rejects a few categories in its Commerce Policy, and the main ones are: alcoholic beverages, tobacco and vaping, weapons and ammunition, weight-loss supplements and products with health claims, gambling, high-risk financial services, medication and drugs.

If your product is not on that list, you pass. If it sits on the line, Meta decides, not Zera: the official policy is the source, and it counts more than our opinion.

Vale saber: você cancela pelo painel quando quiser, por qualquer motivo, inclusive esse.

Which plan should I choose?

There is only one question that settles it: do you already have a system where you want to receive the messages?

I do (um CRM, um ERP, um sistema próprio): a WhatsApp API. You get the number on the official API and connect it to what you already use.

I do not, my team answers on their phones: o ZeraSync. It is the screen where the whole team answers, in one place, with a history that does not walk out with the employee.

I also want a menu that answers on its own (opening hours, address, menu, second copy of a bill): the Combo, which is ZeraSync with BotSync included.

The comparison shows the three side by side. Changing plan later is a one-minute conversation, not a fresh start.

I need more than 10 numbers, or I have several companies

Sign up for 10 on the site and write to [email protected] afterwards: we add the rest to the same account, with nothing redone and no new sign-up.

Several companies with different tax IDs work the same way, each with its own number and its own WhatsApp account on Meta, all on the same screen for your team.

I am not an admin of the Meta Business Manager. What now?

It does not block the sign-up. It is only needed when connecting the number, which is a later step, and someone at the company who is an admin can do it together with you on a ten-minute call.

If your company has never had a Business Manager, one is created for free at the moment of connection, through the Meta window.

My company has no website. Does that get me rejected?

Meta checks the website during the review to confirm the company exists and that what it sells is allowed. An active Instagram profile, with the company name and what it does, usually solves it.

What really gets you rejected is having nothing anywhere, or what is published not matching the name of the business.
